KOREN SPECIFIC TECHNIQUE
A recently discovered breakthrough in chiropractic care is now available at OUR office. It is relatively new and most people haven't heard about it, but it promises to revolutionize healthcare. Dr Corbett recently studied with Dr. Koren to learn this incredible no twisting, turning, "cracking" or "popping" of joints; instead, you receive gentle specific corrections to your spine and structural stystem. KST is very gentle and yet very powerful. Patients usually notice dramatic changes from their first visit. Your body will likely hold its correction for a much longer time with KST.
An important part of the KST method is the utilization of the ArthroStim Adjusting tool. This hand held device delivers precise low force adjustments. All this must sound a bit complicated. The main thing to remember is that I am getting fantastic results working with patients with all types of conditions. KST is excellent for newborns, infants, the elderly and everyone in between.
KST has helpd people with problems as varied as autism, asthma, headaches, migraines, Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, accident-related trauma (including head trauma), depression, anxiety, heart conditions, digestive problems, vision, hearing, ear, eye and balance problems, "brain fog", fatigue, exhaustion, ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, high blood pressure, stress, insomnia, all types of back and neck pain, should and arm pain, Sciatica (leg pain), dizziness, sinus congestion, Hump pattern at base of the neck - it is a lump of restricted swollen muscles and vertebrae and colic in infants.

- Muscle Response Testing (MRT)
Muscle Response Testing (MRT) is one of the tools used by a kinesiologist to detect the imbalances within the body. The same muscle response testing can also be used to detect allergens, negative emotions, toxicities and nutritional deficiencies that cause imbalances in the body.
To utilize MRT, the doctor tests a strong muscle by itself in the clear (usually the deltoid or the shoulder muscle.) Once normal strength within the test muscle is established the doctor can now start his evaluation. The doctor will begin by contacting a clinically established body reflex point with one hand or finger, and then test the strength of the indicator muscle to check for energy imbalances. By contacting both the reflex point and the patients arm, an electrical circuit is formed between the doctor and the patient. A strong muscle indicates normal energy flow through that reflex point and normal balance. Any weakness when contacting a reflex point lets the Dr. know that there is an energy blockage indicated within that reflex. Depending on the established meaning of the reflex point, the doctor can now know where a person is experiencing imbalances in their energy system. This is then correlated to their overall health picture.
Through muscle response testing, the doctor can gain highly accurate information about and their current level of health.
Corrective Exercises
We teach our patients special "blueprint" exercises designed just for them to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction by as much as 30-40%. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health.
NET addresses the physiological component of emotions in a safe, effective way through meridian pulse points or a spinal adjustment.
CRA is a system to detect nutritional and health imbalances by evaluating meridian access points in a non-invasive manner.
Using Muscle Response Testing (MRT) to isolate muscle and organ imbalances.
Homeopathy is the ideal complement to chiropractic. Both homeopathy and chiropractic activate energetic control systems of the body to heal and restore optimal health.
The Biokinetics procedure was developed to locate all forms of interference and actively restore energy flow throughout the body.
BCT is a technique which helps cranial motion and function.
Technique for repair of herniated, ruptured or bulging discs. Successful at preventing unwanted surgery as well as patients with failed back surgery syndrome.
This therapy provides relief for those patients with disc problems or nerve compression
Superficial Heath is the application of heat to the body by way of direct contact. This heat increases the temperature of the tissue being treated. It helps to increase the circulation, reduces joint stiffness, and relaxes tissues such as muscles in spasm and connective tissue. Relieves pain temporarily. Heat is usually used for chronic pain conditions and /or muscle spasms.
Trigger points are uncontrolled muscle spasms, which cause referred pain to other areas in the body. These muscle spasms cause pain, decrease range of motion, and increase weakness. Trigger point therapy is the act of decreasing or relieving these muscle spasms. Sustaining pressure over a short period of time relieves the spasms. This treatment is a great way to reduce chronic muscle spasms, avoid scar tissue, improve muscle tone and increase range of motion.
